Was welding yesterday and noticed a leak at my cooler. Turns out the fitting cracked. Any suggestions on where to buy these? First place I checked the part was over $10 and the shipping was $7.95

At first glance it almost looks like a regular fitting, but then I saw the other end of it.
You should just retrofit that water line itself with the 9mm male quick-disconnect. That way you don't have to worry about any threaded fittings for it. It's redundant IMO.

Brian, go to Western Enterprises and click on their "Where Can I Buy?" at the top. The link I've provided will take you to the Quick Connect page where you can see what they have to offer.
It looks like Oscar has the QDB74 (hose to machine) (don't quote me on that )
BTW I've never seen a fitting fail like that, lucky you!

If you should decide to go with a quick disconnect fitting HTP.....(USAWELD.COM ) has them at a good price.

I've been thinking and thinking about it, and I still can't see the point of them other than perhaps they came about before they made the small 9mm male plug with the barbed end.OzFlo wrote:Hi Brian,
Have you had a look here?

Agree Oscar, the less possible leak points the better.

That's cool but the OP wanted to know where to buy them. I was merely answering his question. I guess CK don't have a pre-fabbed hose with the 9mm male as standard - hence the "second best" option.Oscar wrote: I've been thinking and thinking about it, and I still can't see the point of them other than perhaps they came about before they made the small 9mm male plug with the barbed end.
Thanks guys! OzFlo thanks for the link. I ordered two of them..one for a back-up. I also used a coupon code to take 10% off.
