I have been searching to find the Lincoln PTA 17 Tig Body replacement head with no luck. Or does anyone know what size threads the back cap are? I stripped my threads inside the back of my torch. If I knew the thread size I could go buy a thread tapper and re thread it. I would rather buy 2 or 3 replacment heads though but can not find the PTA 17 air cooled tig body anywhere. Will a WP 17 still have all the same size threads so I can still use al my accesories? Will a WP fit my gas line?

Most if not all 17 series torches will have the same threads. I measured 3/8-32tpi on my 17 torch.
