Welding Tips and Tricks

The old u joint clamped onto the tube.
It split and ripped off.
So we got a new yoke to weld on, then installed the u joint and the thingy that slipps on the tractor.
Mig two passes all the way around. Eyeballs. Couldn't detect noticable runout to the naked eye during operation.

In case any city slickers are wondering what that hunk of steel is or what I even did to it, heres a video of a similar machine, in operation.

General statement.

Yep. That pesky 1st Amendment protects my right to say it, but offers you no protection from taking offence. Our "leaders" and the media seem to have trouble understanding that.

Here's a saying I find quite accurate.

Announcing "I'm offended", is telling the world you can't control your emotions, so someone else should do it for you.

That sounds like an accurate assessment.

Taking offence is selfish... It says, "The world should work MY way, and screw you and how you feel."
That attitude, in fact, is one of the few things that DOES offend me. Does that make me a hypocrite?
