Well, I'm impressed: but, what exactly, is it? It looks like a portable/mobile BBQ, or outdoor oven. Or a mobile ice and beer ... nah. Some cultural distance coming into play here. (Last photo might have been the deal maker.)

And, how are you going to finish it? Can't leave it like that, now.

And, you've got too much time on your hands, taking all those photos.

Awright... I'm a fan of the Bushmill's. I love a three-finger glass of Irish whiskey with a light Belgian ale.

No way! Love the Natty! And, can drink it all day on the cheap...although the last weld would rather I didn't. Upside down, newbie, and pretty buzzed...was really bad...looks like a tumor...

What ya got here is your standard Reverse Flow BBQ Pit. Ok, the size may not be standard, but the design...kinda is. At a minimum I will fork over for the sandblast, and if possible, powder coat the trailer, and the tank and firebox will be high temp. I have two little girls, so...(ehhh....)purple trailer, black tank and firebox, and copper trim!

I wasted all that time learning to weld overhead, I never thought of turning the whole garage upside down. Nice job.

I wish I knew, all the welding equipment belongs to my friend that owns the shop. Great hood though, adjustable darkness, auto darkening, can take a beating from a newb like me. Did notice the top let a lot of sparx in. I'll find out the manufacturer for ya.

Yes, it's a Save Phace helmet. I've had one like my avatar for a while now and I like it, but wish it had four sensors like the new ones. The newest models are shaped a little different which makes them a little bigger and in my mind takes away from the reason I bought it. I bought it to get into tight places and only find myself in tight places when the helmet's at home and I'm at work, go figure. I only ever use it at the bench because it too pretty to get messed up. I may get a plain Jane model for work with the four sensors, if I do, I'll post a review.

Nice! I love building pits. How does she cook? Nothing beats a reverse flow for keeping food moist and just the right amount of smoke. When is the party?

If only, gotta love the squeezin's...My sister who I havent seen in years is coming up for the weekend, I think we will fire her up then. So far, operating great. Runs a nice 250 degrees on the lower rack on about 2-3 splits an hour. Can squeeze 2 hours, but much more responsive if I stay on top of it. I gotta say, I have never run a Reverse Flow before, and there is a bit of a learning curve. Have to be very aware of intake and damper position. I learned real quick if you run it wide open, all the heat blasts right out. That being said, less than 12 degrees temp difference across the entire lower rack that is 30" X 60", and man does she hold a temp, no fluctuation at all! But like any pit, I will have to get to know it, but so far loving it!

Every pit has a learning curve but the nice thing about a pit that big is things change slowly so the risk of burning your food is small.. unless you get drunk and pass out. I have never paid too much attention to the temp difference from side to side as it is more of a general reading. I have a 500 gallon reverse flow with 2 thermos and I think of the temp as a good guess. One tip I will give you is set your wood on top of your firebox so the heat will drive out any moisture before you burn it. You don't want that thick smoke you want the thin blue smoke. Nice work...I totally dig the purple trailer...I was gonna do that and you beat me to it

That thing is awesome! I would love to build a cooker like that someday!
