I'd use simple angle bar for the frame and legs. Have enough area on the top surface for the cables and cords of the unit to clear the frame, then use a strap over the top of the unit that clips on the frame to prevent tipping over and falling.

Its a pretty simple build and useful to protect your equipment.

I wanted to put 2 threaded rods and a wooden crosspiece on top to fix the handle to the trunk, do you also need a cage around the car like a roll bar? I won't put the wheels on for stability reasons, I'm undecided between a height of 60 centimetres and 70, how high would you make it? At least 45x45 cm wide, thanks

I use an elastic strap (we call them bungee cords here) hooked onto the frame, over the machine and under handle, then hooked onto the frame. My cart has wheels because it needs to be movable around my shop.

As long as the wheels are outside the footprint of the base, they should be very stable even with a tank of gas on top (my cart has two full sized tanks on it).

As for height, if you have just the single machine and a single tank, then the top shelf can be pretty low, but make a lower shelf for tools, clamps, accessories because you need stuff to weld! Add some hooks on the cart to hang a coat, helmet, and wrap your cables. A tidy shop is near to God.

60-70cm seems about right. Sit at your welding table and look at the machine. You want to be able to see the front of the machine comfortably to confirm settings or adjust them.

I bought a board 30 cm wide and about 70 cm long, I cut it in half and make the shelves, I make the frame in an angle, similar to a stool about 60 cm high but without wheels to make it more stable, I could put some reference photos thanks, sorry if I bother you thanks

No bother at all. I still encourage you to put wheels on it. Having them and not needing them is better than not having them and wanting them. Besides, if they are small diameter, there is no instability issue.

I bought a 30 cm x 80 cm wide board that I will divide in two to make the shelves, I have to buy the 30 x 30 mm angle to make the 70 cm high iron structure I hope it is stable enough and will not tip over, do you think it will be a good job or will it be unstable in terms of height width depth ratio? I would not like it to tip over due to an awkward and sudden movement of mine while I am working thanks

I think you will be fine.

If you want to increase the stability, make the legs have an angle from floor to top shelf of about 5*. That makes the area of the top sit “inside the footprint” of the legs. Think of a pyramid, large, wide base, smaller top.

Unless you are running around your shop crashing into things carelessly, you will be fine. As I’ve said, my cart is on wheels and it has never come close to tipping over even with 2 full sized bottles aboard.
