Built a really great bumper kit by MOVE, it was such a simple and fun project. Everything fit together perfectly and end result was really nice.

I have a set I have to weld up for my son in a few weeks.
Looking at your pics, make sure you wrap weld beads around the corners (tow eyes) to provide the best strength.
Also be aware, as you finish weld that bumper while it’s attached to the truck, the heat from welding can cause enough distortion in the mounting hole alignments to make it damn near impossible to remove/install it again. Make a bit of spacers to prevent the bumper from cinching up on you so it can be unbolted easily.
Nice looking work from what I can see.

Thanks for looking and for the advice! Which part did you see that needs the toe welds? This was my first bumper build so I would love to make sure it is done right. The bumper was initially tacked in place on the truck then removed for finish welding and did have some distortion but was bolted back in place pretty easily, albeit I had to use a pry bar to get the mounts to open up enough to slide over the frame every still lined up thankfully! Shims would have been great to use to prevent it from being so tight.

The tow eyes look to be welded only on the sides. May just be the status at the moment the picture was taken.

Ah, I understand now. They were probably not fully welded at the time of the picture. I ended up welding around the whole protrusion before sending the bumper home with him.
