Nice ventilation project. I have one in the works to ventilate my garage up into the attic, since the attic is ventilated with a fan as well. My plan is to use/build a sliding panel with the fan attached, where the attic entrance is, so I just pull down the door for the attic ladder, and there is the fan pushing air up into the attic. And if I need to access the attic, I just slide that panel out of the way.

Very good work. Don't forget that at source extraction is the best option. Because if you have an overhead fan or sucker, it still has to pass your breath hole on the way. A flexible duct to bring the suction down to the arc area is the best idea. Keep up the good work
