So I make these turn tables for rotating a motorcycle 360 degrees. I had one and was thinking how can I make into t positioner. So I placed it on the floor, welded a 1/2 inch pipe floor flange into the very center, spun a piece of black pipe into it down through the top of my welding table. Made a ten inch disk out of 10 ga. welded another floor flange to it in very center. Now like a pottery wheel I can attach the small plate on top and use my foot to rotate. I did make a bracket at the surface of my table to steady it and that is where I wrapped my copper braided grounding strap around the pipe and attache d to the grounded table.

Bruce,

I like this idea of the pottery type wheel using the foot...but think I would like to have it powered. Probably not too hard to adopt a small Bodine motor with a pedal, but useful as-is I'm sure.

Looks useful on that Nomad. I've been struggling to come up with a decent table for tig. That looks like a useful setup.

TXSViking's setup

Yes he set my wheels in motion I do not claim to have invented the concept.
