This is my hybrid welding cart.

I call it a hybrid because I started with an AV (audio visual) cart and added some features.

This is how I used the cart while I was deciding what to build. The argon bottle is chained to the shelf unit.

I added a bottle support to the cart. I used velcro luggage straps (from Home Depot) to secure the argon tank and water pipe insulators to pad the frame.

I added a removable shelf to the cart.

Nice-compact and neat. What I really like are the 4 caster wheels for easy maneuvering. If your shop is limited for space at times like mine it sure is nice to be able to grab it anywhere and it will follow. 8-)

Thanks. My shop (or garage) is pretty cramped and the cart only needs to move 2-3 feet.

Thanks. I bought the water cooler through a surplus auction on http://www.govliquidation.com. I'm almost embarrassed to say that my winning bid was $35 ($45 with buyers premium and CA sales tax). It did cost me a days time to drive 4 hours each way to pick it up.
