10 ton portable press

The risers are 3X 3/16 square, the platen is 4" heavy channel. The one rolled channel's flange had to be milled, brought down with heavy clamps and re-welded so the flange would be at the same elevation as the other side's flange. My SIL welded it, but I taught him though. :lol:

Looks great. And two tone paint job to boot. I like the hydraulic power pack, where did you get that and how much was it?

Thanks electrode. Sorry I couldn't post individual pictures of the project, but the website won't allow MP4 videos, so I had to link to my photobucket account.

My Black Hawk porta power is a 1995 ish model, yours might not need an adapter to hook the cylinder to the pump. I needed one, It took awhile to get to me, I thinking around three weeks, but it was only $21 and change when I bought mine.

No worries on the extra pics, I watched the slideshow on your PB account. You can always link to the mp4 on you tube in the future. Thanks for the info on the pump and the adapter. :D

Craig, they work so well I'm going top put them on my homemade 50-ton press too.
