What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?

well heres a few more pics of stuff i get to do at work the carriage roof repair is only sheet metal and dates from 1936 ish the other pics are a locomotive frame witch is about 100 years old the frame is full of hairline cracks some all the way through 2" plate to say the welding of old stuff like this is frustrating is a understatement but very satisfieing when you finish ,i was on the frame about 6 hours as you can see from one of the shots i had to chop another bit of thinner frame out to get to the main crack
ill put some shorts of the finished jobs as i go

Is this more of the stuff used in the "Murder on the Orient Express" movie?

That must be a fun job, despite the frustrations.

since the orient express film the coaches have appeared and featured quite a lot in the film hugo not sure how big it was elsewhere but big film here ive not even seen it lol
the loco frame is a long term resto
