What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Looking for welding/fabricating projects to use this material instead of scrapping them. I have about qty of 6-8. They measure 40’ long 1.5” thick and 4”or 5” wide( can’t remember exactly) would love some creative ideas. I also have a TON of crane boom that can be cut up and made into other things so if you have an idea for those as well.

That’s reinforcement strap/ wear bars, for the bottom of dirt buckets on heavy equipment.
I have more questions than answers

Unfortunately I work in the crane industry so where I work we don’t have any dirt equipment. Are there really buckets with 1.5” thick wear bars on them? Seems HUGE.
