I am working on automatic slag removal system for SAW. System should be capable of cleaning slag both longitudinal & circumferential weld with groove angle of 60-70 degree with max depth of 100 mm.
Kindly suggest the various method & technologies available for cleaning weld slag. Also let me know whether automatic removal solution integrated with in current weld system is possible

Most slag is designed to come off easily after it gets below a certain temp. I would recommend contacting the companies that engineer filler metal.
