Can someone post a video on the proper technique to backfeed a root pass on pipe [steel or stainless, etc.] TIG?

by backfeed do u mean to ask how to shield the backside of a puddle with gas?...

If I'm right, and correct me if I'm not, I think hes talkin about when you run the root and actually feed the rod in through the inside of the pipe. Heard about it, never actually done it or seen it done though. Think they use it for certain welds that have to have a certain root face or somethin like that. Although all the welds I'm thinkin of where you used to do that they use backer rings for now :p
