Welding Tips and Tricks

Guys I have searched the forum and cannot find anything on this. I got a weldpak 100 some time ago and I immediately changed it to gas. Being a beginner I put a washer under the spool and welded away. Now with a little more experience I am noticing it feeds funny. I have looked up a 8"spool adapter. Would this make my experience a better one?

Some troubleshooting you might try:
* Adjust feed tension according to your manual
* Replace the contact tip, to make sure it is not clogged or fouled

Can you revert to a small spool, to see if the large roll is the problem?
