some people says that FCAW procedure is more dangerous because it produces much more cancerogenic particles than other procedures...
is that true, or is just bull...???

FCAW and SMAW/MMA produce far more fumes than other processes, and are, naturally, more hazardous.
Watch your ventilation to keep your head out of the smoke, and/or use a respirator rated p100, and you'll be fine.

are the fumes from FCAW more dangerous than other, or is just quantity that matters the most in this case ???

It's mostly about quantity. GTAW (TIG) produces very little fume, but over a lifetime can be hazardous. FCAW makes a lot, and fast. Find ways to keep out of the smoke, like carefully placed ventilation, fume extractors (home-made is far better than nothing), or PPE like a respirator.

I did some FCAW a few weeks ago because I ran out of C25, and man am I glad I had my 3M 7500 respirator with the pink filters. Some smoke cloud that makes, I had forgotten about! Since I never really did a lot of SMAW, it's always a rude awakening, lol
