I am so excited I had to tell someone. I am self taught mig welder and bad at it. I finished tig school 4 months ago hadn't done tig in a long time. Needed to do some tig today and thanks to school and the understanding of heat and puddle control I layed down some nice stacked dimes. First time ever with a mig.

LOL TOO FLIPPING FUNNY.... I just put a Miller 3035 on my 212 tonight and ran a couple of beeds of pretty decent looking stacked dimes. It's no where as nice as TIG but you are exactly right about TIG having a big influence on your spray MIG welding. I tried it before I started learning TIG. In fact those feeble attempts are the very reason I decided to learn TIG.
