Hello, I'm stuggling with 4F welding position.

link to img: http://www.part.lt/img/218241d42a72a0a2 ... f26795.jpg (image appeared abnormally while in [IMG] tags.
This position are causing a problem, and ruins the working piece.
Waiting for some cool tips :)

The picture that you posted shows a 4mm fillet weld on the "other" side of the joint...opposite side than the arrow is pointing to.

just wondering how the pic appeared so huge here :?
Also, i don't get to weld in that position at all. Tried lowering volts, also feeding. Doesn't help. The weld just ''falls down''.
Probably i'm doing something fail (torch angle?) or something

Semantics of weld symbols aside, for that 4F weld you should be pushing, not dragging. Torch angle should be about 60* "up", and 15-25* "forward", rather than dragging your bead behind you. Work from the outside to the middle and push your puddle.

Otto, thanks for explaining this.
Superiorwelding, that;s pretty hard to say, since those machines does not have amp/volts indicator.
