Trimix On Mild Steel

I have a bottle of trimix gas that I bought years ago to try on stainless. I have only used it once as I rarely weld stainless. Now that I have a TIG welder, I am even less likely to use it.
Is it OK to use the trimix on mild steel just to use it up? I have tried it, but I think that the argon/CO2 mix welds better. Would trimix compromise mild steel welds in any way?
Thanks.

I LOVE to use tri-mix (90%He, 7.5%AR, 2.5%CO2) on carbon steel, and I get away with it at work despite the cost.
The weld is hotter for more penetration, and when dialed in "just so" leaves so little spatter that spatter-spray is not needed.
You will harm nothing, and improve your penetration for the same settings.
Use it up, and enjoy it while you can.

Well, that settles that!
Thanks for the info.
I will enjoy it while I can, which probably won't be long because it is only a 50 cu/ft cylinder. When it's empty, I will trade it in for a 125 cu/ft Argon/CO2 cylinder. When I emptied my last Argon/CO2 cylinder, I traded it for some Helium. My LWS is really good that way.
