I was wondering if anyone had any good advice on how to pass a 3g flux core welding test with ceramic backing

"True" flux-core? Or a "dual-shield" process?

Ask for the WPS for the test.
They should provide it.
It will tell you everything you (and we) don't know.

While I can't answer anything with the ceramic backing, I can say to stay on the leading edge of the weld puddle. If you fall back into your weld to much there will be a chance of inclusion. I would also use all 10* you are allowed to lean it backward. This will help more than you think.
If you want more specifics, we would need more info but by the time we know it you would have taken the test already. Let us know even if it is after, I haven't done a duel shield 3G in a whole, might have to run one for fun.
