the ground clamp that came with my l-tec mig 130 was nothing to brag about when it was new and that was long ago. it became really noticable last week when i had about 60 ft of 110v extension cord run out along with an undersized circuit breaker. the weld was starting and stopping and the ground lead was hot to the touch. i changed it out with a fairly heavy copper alligator type clamp with a heavy spring. fast forward to last nite when i was welding under almost the same conditions and it was like a different machine. i run lincoln innershield nr-211mp with a .035 dia wire and it was running great with about a 1/2 in stickout. it's got a feature to run on 220v which i never tried. maybe soon.
