Hi there, I would just like some opinions on this brand of Mig welder since we have been getting lots of surplus imports from Australia and I am planning to buy a Cigweld 150 or 160. I usually do stick welding and would love to try my hands on this welder and learn how to do fluxcore welding first and perhaps graduate to using shielding gas in the coming months. This welder is being sold here in our country for $200.00 to $250.00.

Will this welder be good enough as an entry level machine for a mig noobie ? I know this 150 amp welder is good enough for 4 mm to 5 mm thick metal and I think this will be enough to start me off.
