Anybody got any preference to BRAND of .030 solid wire to be using with my Handler 140, for mild steel (mostly 1/8" to 3/16" thick, not much sheet metal).

Using 75/25 mix, and wondered if plain ol' Harbor Freight .030 spools are adequate, or Miller or Lincoln brand are somehow better quality?

thanks

Unless you are required to use a specific wire to meet certain classifications, I would use the Harbor Freight wire. If you are using it for just hobby welding, it will work fine. Although you might want to try other brands. You may like the characteristics of other brands of wires. In that regard, they are different. It will come down to what appeals to you.
I would recommend an ER70S-6.

By the way, where are you in NE Ohio ??
