So when I'm welding with mig or flux core wire what happens to my amperage the closer I am to the material aka short stick out? What happens to my amperage the farther away I am from the material aka long stickout?
keep in mind you need to use the correct CTWD or stick out and not change that to try and change amps. thats very important with flux core welding. change it at the machine or use other manipulation to alter the heat.Wildwelder96 wrote:So when I'm welding with mig or flux core wire what happens to my amperage the closer I am to the material aka short stick out? tweak it until it breaks
