Need new mig gun

Hey y’all
My little Miller quit working on me yesterday, wouldn’t get an arc even if I touched on the ground clamp. I took the cable apart today and found the reason.
I’m guessing that’s not reparable, so I’ll probably use this as a reason to get a better gun, this one is too small and plasticy for my liking.
What gun should I get? Just a new miller gun or maybe something like a Bernard?
This is more of a backup/portable machine. I do most of my shop work with a 300 Lincoln.
