One process to rule them all! - Dual shield question

OK....not really.

But just ran some Lincoln Outershield (flux core, gas shielded) for the first time...and wow am I impressed! This stuff really fuses in hot.

But what I can't seem to find is some recommended settings for .035 wire. I'm on a Lincoln Power Mig 210 so limited in my output - or would be on .045. My books and internet research only turns up settings for .045....and yes I have watched Jodi's videos on dual shield.

Picture below my first attempt...1/4" wall 2x 6 tubing. I know....the crown is a little high...I did bevel it a bit. Settings used were circa 300/22.7v on 75/25 mix.

*Would love some suggestions on hotter settings for 3/8" & 1/2" plate, multiple pass....

Thanks in advance....

In general, to flatten and widen a bead with mig, turn up the voltage.
