A conversation with my welding gas supplier today suggests Tri-Mix may become very hard to come by because of the growing helium shortage (we are among a few of their customers that haven't been completely cut off yet).

By an odd quirk of the nature of my work, we have no shortage of helium.

I can, of course, set up check valves, and a mixing valve, to use helium and 75/25 in a 9:1 ratio--Viola! Tri-mix!

But, if it will work fine with 100% helium, and it's essentially free... ?
