I am looking at a Miller 141 and spoolmate 100 to weld 1x1 1/8" aluminum tubing. Good idea? Anything you guys know that would be better and can still run on 110v?

Have you considered tig weldin the aluminum? It may be a better option since you can still do steel and tig may do a better job. Just a larger learning curve.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

1x1 will look better TIG'd, I like my 130A but only use is for speed on larger stuff. Definitely spend the money on a flex end, you will thank me later.
