Mild Steel Wire for Welding Stainless?

Can I weld Stainless with mild steel welding wire? Looks aren't important. I am making a grill for a BBQ and have some rods of stainless, and a flux core welder. Thanks!

Hey there,

You should be right as long as there is no load on the welds.
