Hello, This is my first post. My son has a sorghum pan that is made of stainless steel. It has seams that were originally soldered. Some of these seams have begun to leak. Our plan is to use a propane torch and stainless steel brushes to remove the solder and then weld with the proper wire and gas. Any thoughts and tips will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Glenn

I'm assuming you plan on using mig? That's where this was posted anyways. Nothing really depending on the steel I'd use 308 or 309. Clean it well with a non contaminated brush. Drag the gun along.
