Help I need some tips for welding Fish Wires on Bolts. I have been trying with limited success to use the Mig welder to weld on the tips of bolts then stop the ground and feed enough wire out to fish a bolt to a limited access bolt and cut off. I have a very hard time not just continually burning wire off the bolts ..IDEAS TIPS ? Thanks You

Hi,
Welcome to the forum,
If your mig has a "burn back" control, turn this all the way to zero. This function is designed to stop the wire sticking to the job, The exact opposite of what you are trying to do.

Barring success with Mick's suggestion,
Run the wire out about three inches before letting it contact to head of the bolt, and kill the switch after you see the spark of contact, but before the wire melts in two... It may take a few tries.
You won't have a strong conection, but strong enough to fish a bolt, and weak enough to simply pull the wire away when done...
