Watching a lot a Jody's videos and not having a digital readout. I have a Millermatic 140 and hear Jody talk about voltage being 18 volts DC. All I have are the radio buttons with 1-10 settings. Anyone know the approximate settings for reference.

has it got a door chart?
that will generally get you in the ball park.
if its missing you might be able to download a copy.
failing that simply let the weld tell you. adjust until the weld is good then write it down on your cheat sheet.
tweak it until it breaks

I have a Millermatic 175 basically same thing you have. Yes there is a door chart but that still doesn't tell you the actual volts/wfs.

Wire feed speed you can calculate, hold the trigger for 10 seconds, measure, then multiply by 6 to get inches per min. Flip up the tension knob on the feeder rolls and you can rewind the wire back onto the spool. Voltage I'm not sure the best way to measure, I'm no sparky.

Honestly tho I've never bother with any of that, like Tweake said I just find what works and roll with it.
