Just wanted to stop by and show some monkey nuts that I've been able to lay down with some degree of success.
It's been mostly thanks to this website/Jody for ensuring we have some down and dirty facts & tricks for welding Al.
This was done on an Miller Aerowave (full feature model) at roughly 400hz;
I'm still attempting to dial-in and record what settings & combinations work for me.

I do set the standards pretty high for myself, always have.
I've been able to pull off some really nice looking beads but still learning what the machine can do at different settings.
...I'd like to be able to at least hang with some of the Aerospace standards I've seen around on the internets.

Kermdawg, go for it dude! I love to inspire a smile, as long as it is not at someone else's expense who does not deserve it. Still waiting to hear from someone on my Lincoln 350MP thread. Not a common machine I guess. So many settings, so little time...lol. Love to weld with it though! When the settings are right and the stars are in alignment, looks like a beautiful tig weld....
