I'm a newbie at TIG welding, and picked up a Airco 250 Heliwelder-

I'm wondering if a Foot Controller or Remote hand controller for Amps would be beneficial, if it's not too expensive?
I've been trying to do some research, but am not sure which foot control to get- the Miller RFC23A or the Miller RHC3 or ?
Or go to a MIC4 so I can use a 5 prong Miller pedal?
The Airco has the 3 prong Hubbel plug for the remote Amps, and the 2 Prong Hubbel plug for the Contactor.
Any info from the knowledge base on here will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
RJ

RJ,
I would try to find a MIC-4 if possible, it opens up more options when it comes to pedals and torch mounted controls. That being said, I think you'll have to go the RFC23A route if you can't find a MIC-4, they're usually very hard to find and very expensive when you do. They work well, just heavy and clunky compared to others.
