I have an exhaust system I need to weld out for a guy. It is 37mm x .24mm grade 2 CP tubing. I know it needs to be purged...I only wonder who sells the "Y" mcdapter for my one bottle setup. Also wanted some advice on filler suggestions and sizes. Thanks in advance...pics as it happens.

You can get a dual flowmeter from HTP for about $100. Filler rod diameter should be thinner than the thickness of the base material for optimum results, but it can still be done with filler rod same size or slightly bigger, you just end up having to dump more heat into it to melt the filler.

OK great...only filler I could find locally and at an unbeatable price is 4953 .035" filler. I also was told wrong about the tube material...it is grade 6. High temp capable compounds. You think it would be OK to tack tubes while there mocked in place and wash through the discolored portion or will it contaminate the weld at that point?

It will still be contaminated after washing over the tack, but if it's just for an exhaust, you'll be ok, so long as you're not into the really bad end of the contamination spectrum. Have you looked at contamination color charts for titanium? 0.24mm is awfully thin. You better have some very thought-out heat control and technique.

Western Enterprises makes the Y connection, I'd suggest the "valve" version, part number 411, go to their distributor page and choose your state http://westernenterprises.com/where-can-i-buy/

Are you saying the tube is .24mm thick? Isn't that like .010"? Doesn't seem right.

When welding Ti the filler will stick to the base metal very easily if you don't hit the puddle, and .035" diameter is soft and will bend like a wet noodle (well not quite THAT bad, but it is a PITA) I'd recommend 1/16" filler
