Welding Tips and Tricks

Any pointer to get perfect root less than 3/32 reinforcement and absolutely no color on SS sanitary pipe? Have to test to these specs and some Monday. More than sufficient gas coverage and low amps but I think they want no root opening and still perfect wedding band and no sugaring. Any advice?

Low amps and perhaps walk the cup. What comes to root color. You want good purge plucks and hose. Make sure you wont have any leaks.
