Been practicing and finally think I'm starting to get the hang of it! 1/8" angle welded at 100amps with 3/32 tungsten and 1/8" er70-s2

I'm not positive but I'm still trying to remember which is which but I want to say 2% thoriated

In real repairs you'd use mig on 1/8 angle....

Anyway,

I was just voicing my opinion a little to much.

Tig is great for clean, pristine, and perfect condition metal.....

IMO,
Mig is much more valuable a process for general steel....

Glad you like tig.
Good skill to have, if you get good at it.
It has its many places. Welding on farm machinery in the wind isn't one of them. :lol:

Tig is to delicate for me....

Where did you have the flux capacitors set at? Don't over heat them or it will time warp you.

Besides, flux capacitors are only used for stick welders and flux core welders....
