Welding Tips and Tricks

I got my monster tig cup today I think it's a #16 so far I like it but I wanted to let anyone that's planing on getting it not to buy the defuser biscuits they sale for it. Just get you some scotch-brite pads and cut it from that. I'm pretty sure that's what they do. I mean it's even got some white lettering on them just like the scotch-brite pads just saying they look the same. You could also use screen they both work good. Whatever's easiest for you and your situation.

Yep it's scotchbrite. Cheap and works well.

Always wondered how the scotchbrite doesn't burn or melt....? Maybe its just not as hot in the cup as one would think?
