Tig welding or not ??

Can someone take a look at this welding done on a YouTube video about motorcycle. It's 1 minute into the vid. Looks like tig and has tig set up but sound of weld is really odd ? Any one throw any light on to this for me. Thanks

That is tig welding. I would assume the sound is the gas flow or background noise.

Cheers. Looks like it but the sound is odd. Didn't know if it was on dc ??

No that was not DC. See how his weld was shiny and had the cleaning action around the edges? Welding on DC gives a very dull looking weld and does not produce a very good ripple pattern, at least not easily.
