What's the best way to set the lincoln ranger 225 DC welder to do tig welding.i won't be able to weld alum because it's not ac.is their a simple way to set this machine to be able to tig with it.their are some jobs in the field that this could be handy in the field.

Chuck,
All you need to do is get an air cooled (17 or 26 series) torch with a gas valve built in and hook it up electrode negative and you can Tig weld anywhere your Ranger and a bottle of Argon can go. Welding in the field will require you to put up tarps to block the wind from blowing away your Argon most times. I use a power adapter that is made to hook up to the stud on the welder but just clamp it in the electrode holder for conveinence.
