I am welding for the 4thy timewith my Miller EconoTIG and I am getting shocked. I am welding stainless steel on a welding table that I recently made. I am wearing the proper welding coat and thicker than normal gloves but I am still recieving some shocks. What is wrong???

i am not an electrician, but the instruction manual probably has a step for driving a copper rod in the ground to make sure the frame of the machine is properly grounded to prevent high frequency from bleeding out everywhere... that might be the problem.

Make sure you are not between your ground and workpiece. Or if you can ground right to the work . Also to narrow it down try wearing a pair of the latex gloves under your reg gloves.Sometimes you can get a jolt from just a hole around the stitching as well in the fingers of the gloves.
