2% Lanthanum does seem to hold up best for me. Cost a little more but if it works better and last longer I think it's worth the extra bucks.

I use 2 percent lanth dark blue band on my dynasty on al. Sharpen normally and put a flat land on the end. Do a search Jody did a tungsten video a while back that was very informative.
