Im probably need to read an instruction manual, but....... Im trying to use the dynasty 200 dx for the first time, and it consistently lets the arc die after about 15 seconds. Im wondering what could be causing this. I have a foot pedal, I let the machine warm up for a good 5 mins before I try using it , and the front panel lights up!

OK, I am using a 30 amp breaker 240 plug.
trying to weld 1/8" steel
settings are at 120 amps with foot pedal control

Still not getting why arc goes out. I know its not any slope or t settings because the same thing happens with a foot or on/off trigger.
