Trying to figure out what's causing the below. Fresh bottle and the welder checked out fine at the local shop. Tungsten was clean prior to starting the arc.

You’ve got gas issues. At least.

Appears the insulators are incorrectly assembled. What gas CFH are you running, what filler wire? Amperage?

yeah you seam to have two insulators fitted. the original one on the torch pops off and you fit the one that comes in the kit.
tweak it until it breaks
