at work i use a miller dynasty 700. we use a super cool 18 torch with a #8 torch cup. i find i need at leaste 35 cu ft per hr gas flow. does this sound like alot?? does a larger torch make a differnce on gas flow? most people dont use that large of a torch. we need the high amp rating. when i try to use a #5 long cup, it seems to need about the amount of gas flow. shouldnt it be lower w/ a smaller size? would maybe a gas lens help? doing casting repair if it helps, like to hear some thoughts.
