New to Gas Regulators - Leakage the way they work?

I have owned my Lincoln Idealarc for about 13 years, but just recently got set up to use the TIG (been using for stick welding).

I am using the gas regulator that came with welder.
The regulator leaks argon constantly from the holes on the regulator head.
Is this the way it works, or do I need to repair or replace the regulator?

Thanks,
This forum and TIG are new to me. Looking forward to learning!

Sounds like the diaphram is rotted. Shouldn't leak anywhere.

I'll second that. You need a new regulator.

Thanks Guys,

I bought a new regulator. When I have some time I will take the other apart to see what is up, and whether it might be worth fixing if parts are available.
