Sorry guys if this is a topic that you have already debated anyway, I cant find much about.
How to shoot clear close-up tig welding videos were you can clearly se the bead, paddle, etc.
I built 2 cases to hold my gopro behind a nd welding glass from an old welding helmet, another case that holds my gopro behind a much more sofisticated glass that cuts light by itself once exposed to torch brightness. Both cases resulted in a failure, I try to find info mainly in youtube were I can see very well done videos, excellent close up but, practically no info about the camera set up and ardware implemented. Cause I shoot trough a gopro my solution could not be setting: iso, shutter speed, etc, must be lense, may nd filter? So could you be so kind, share your experience about, your ardware, etc if you are able to shoot close up tig welding videos were the bead, the puddle, etc are seen clearly?
Thanks so much!
