Titanium 1/4” and 3/8” plates?

Hey guys. New member here just wondering about this. I have a weld test scheduled on pretty thick titanium grade 2 and 304 stainless plates with open roots. I’ve ran .035 Ti plates and .045 SS plates before but nothing this thick. Wondering if you guys have any tips/suggestions for this.
