TIG Rod question

I came across some TIG rod tagged TIG-TECTIC B I looked on the Castolin Eutectic website and could not find it. The tube it was in was quite old looking, does anyone recognize this TIG wire and know anything about it?

What is stamped on the end of the wire? Filler rod usually has its grade on the small flat tab on either end.

There is no flattened area towards the end of the rod with the AWS classification, just a small yellow flag tag on the wire with TIG-TECTIC B.

If it's very old, they may have retired that specific name, but as you found out, the group name is still in use. Anything from Castolin is likely to be great. Maybe a direct email to them may help follow the succession. It may even be a special alloy for military use, they persist on using special numbers that don't apply in the real world.
