Gday All,
looking for some advice on filler - I have to tig weld some 304 stainless pipe to 316 stainless socket weld fittings.
I have at my disposal 316, 308, and 309.
While the below article does not answer my question exactly, the fact that the 309 does not have any molybdenum gives me the (uneducated) inkling that i should weld out the whole thing in 316?
Thanks in advance for advice....
